Are you okay?

How did you answer that question? Did you suddenly feel overwhelmed? Sad? Frustrated? Deciding to engage in therapy is not easy. Having to face emotions that you have not dealt with for days, months, years, decades, can be overwhelming. Recognizing that you may have feelings and experiences that you have not dealt with, acknowledging the long therapeutic process, and overcoming stigma, are only a few of the challenges that people may face. I am here to remind you that I can and will support you through the first steps.

In 2021, I graduated with my masters degree in counseling from Post University. Additionally, I obtained a masters degree in criminal Justice and forensic psychology from the University of New Haven in 2017. With several years of experience, I have successfully treated those with substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other disorders and concerns related to the criminal Justice system.

As an LPC , I specialize in treating children and adolescents with conduct disorders, depression, history of suicidal ideations/attempts and adjustment disorders. Additionally, I am able to treat adults who struggle with cooccurring disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health disorders. I apply a psychodynamic approach to discuss unresolved conflicts and explore how your previous experiences are affecting your current thoughts and behavior. Sometimes we do not realize how valuable our early life experiences are and how they impact us.

How are you feeling now?

I can only hope that my message helps you gain the courage that you need to take the next step. I look forward to helping you reach your therapeutic goals and to simply feel better.
